Our story began when our founder, Jullianna, discovered a remarkable collection of original artwork left by her late mother. This intimate inheritance inspired a larger vision: to take art beyond the gallery and give it movement, presence and new life through exceptional wearable pieces.
Today, that vision reaches around the world.
Through our Global Artists Initiative, we discover original cultural art and collaborate directly with artists to create collections that honour diverse cultures, artistic traditions, perspectives and stories. Each collaboration adds a new chapter to our growing collection—an invitation to connect through the shared language of art.

NoMiNoU follows a different rhythm. We believe the most meaningful things aren’t made for mass consumption. We embrace slow fashion, choosing considered design, responsible production and enduring quality over excess.
That commitment informs every decision we make. We use eco-friendly, sustainable materials and produce our collections entirely in Canada with trusted manufacturing partners who uphold our standards for ethical production, responsible practices and fair working conditions. From the fibres we select to the people who bring each garment to life, the integrity of the process is inseparable from the beauty of the result.
Our collections are made in small batches, with many pieces created to order especially for you. This approach helps reduce unnecessary production and waste while giving every detail the attention it deserves—from the selection and placement of the original artwork to the design, construction and finish.
